Steak Fajita Sauce

Fajitas aren’t something we eat often at our house, so when I was looking for something different to do with some beef, it seems like a good enough reason to to make my own sauce.

For the sauce :

  • ¼ cup mayo
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp sugar
  • Salt/pepper to taste
  • 1 T lemon juice
  • 1 ½ T Worcestershire sauce

Mix all ingredients in a bowl.  Simplest directions ever.

For the steak-

  • ½ onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 green pepper, sliced
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • 1/2 lb steak cut into thin strips
  • Kosher salt and pepper to taste
  • Chili powder to taste
  • Ground cumin to taste
  • Shredded cheddar or Colby jack cheese (for topping)
  • Fajita wraps

Saute onions, green pepper, and garlic in olive oil.  Once they start to become tender, add steak and spices and cook until steak is medium.
